Centre is a book cafe which is located near Shinsakaemachi station. Shin-sakae is well known for nightlife area. Shinsakae is regarded as most daingerouse area in Nagoya by locals but this café is located on a main street and you will not face something to be threatened.

There is a menu sign in front of the café. It’s written in Japanese, but it also has pictures, so I thought it would be helpful and took a photo.

When you place an order, you are given a number card like the one in the photo below. You wait until your number is called.

The day I went, it was the middle of winter, so I ordered a hot café au lait.

This café has power outlets, so many people were working on their laptops. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. There is a bookshelf at the back of the café with many books. Unfortunately, they are all in Japanese.
