If you’re visiting Nagoya’s Port Ward and looking for a tasty place to eat after exploring the famous Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium, I highly recommend Drooga No. 2, a cozy Indian curry restaurant just a short walk away.

The nearest station is Nagoyako Station on the Meiko Subway Line. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the restaurant. The location makes it perfect for a lunch or dinner stop after visiting the aquarium or strolling along the harbor area.

Drooga No. 2 has a casual and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is small but comfortable, with friendly staff and the delicious aroma of freshly made curry filling the air. The menu offers a variety of curries, naan, and tandoori dishes, all served at very reasonable prices.

I visited on a Saturday evening. Since it was still a bit early for dinner, the restaurant wasn’t very crowded.

I chose the chicken curry and seafood curry set (about 1,500 yen). It comes with salad and tandoori chicken on the side. The portions are big, everything was delicious, and I left totally satisfied!

When it comes to Indian curry restaurants, you can’t forget lassi. I enjoyed one as my after-meal drink.
