I want to eat Lanzhou beef noodles.
I want to eat Lanzhou ramen. I crave the mildly spicy beef bone broth with chili oil and coriander. I don’t think there are many people who feel the same way, and I’m not sure if there’s much demand for it. Anyway, let me introduce the Lanzhou ramen I had in Nagoya. The place I visited this time was Newbyway, located in the Osu Shopping Street. In kanji, it’s written as 牛百味, but since it’s pronounced in Chinese, I went with ‘Newbyway’ to match the pronunciation.
The inside of the store is long and narrow but quite spacious. Since it was a weekday afternoon, there were few customers.
This shop is run by Chinese people, and Chinese characters are used as well. As a Japanese person, I can understand the meaning.
I had the ramen and fried rice set for 950 yen. Of course, I chose the Lanzhou beef noodle soup for the ramen.
It’s quite spicy because it contains chili oil. Still, it had a refreshing taste and was delicious.
