A Warm and Productive Find in Winter Nagoya
On January 21, 2026, during a strong cold wave that made Nagoya unusually chilly, I was looking for a warm place where I could comfortably work on my laptop. That’s how I discovered DAYS CAFE, a recently opened café in the Fushimi area of Nagoya.
DAYS CAFE is a new café that opened in October 2025, and that freshness is immediately noticeable when you step inside.
Spacious, Clean, and Perfect for Laptop Work

The interior of DAYS CAFE is deeper and more spacious than it looks from the entrance, creating a relaxed and open atmosphere. Since it’s newly opened, everything feels clean and well-maintained.
One of the biggest highlights is that almost every seat—except the regular table seats—has power outlets. Combined with free Wi-Fi, this makes the café ideal for remote work, writing, or studying.
I visited on a weekday, and there were only about three other customers, all quietly working on their laptops. The overall atmosphere was calm and focused.
Wi-Fi Speed and Actual Work Experience

I tested the Wi-Fi speed out of curiosity. As shown in the photo, it’s average but stable. For browser-based tasks like WordPress writing and editing, it worked perfectly fine. In fact, this very article was written while sitting at DAYS CAFE.
Morning Set: A Comfortable Start to the Day

Since I arrived around 10:00 a.m., I ordered the morning set, which came with a matcha latte and toast. The toast was thick and satisfying, served with unsalted butter and apple jam. The apple jam had a clean, refreshing sweetness and was especially delicious.
The café was so comfortable—and so quiet—that I ended up staying longer than planned. Having a restroom available also makes long stays much more convenient.
Afternoon Treat: Apple Pie with Ice Cream

In the afternoon, I ordered an apple pie, which came with vanilla ice cream. The pie was crispy on the outside, warm inside, and paired perfectly with the ice cream. A great dessert to enjoy while continuing work.
Who DAYS CAFE Is Best For
DAYS CAFE is a quiet, work-focused café where productivity comes naturally. Because most customers are working on laptops, it’s not ideal for chatting in groups. However, if you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped café in Fushimi to get things done, this place is an excellent choice.
For digital nomads, writers, and remote workers visiting Nagoya, DAYS CAFE is one of the best laptop-friendly cafés in the city.
