A Quiet Café Escape Near Endoji Shopping Street
On January 20, 2026, a cold and windy weekday in Nagoya, I was looking for a warm and quiet place to relax. That’s when I visited rows coffee, a small but stylish café located just a short walk from Endoji Shopping Street.
The nearest station is Kokusai Center Station, and from there it takes about five minutes on foot, making it very convenient for travelers exploring central Nagoya.
Atmosphere & Seating: Stylish but Intimate

Rows Coffee is not a large café. Including the counter seats along the wall, there are only around 20 seats in total. It’s worth noting that there are no power outlets, even at the counter, so this is not a café for working on a laptop. Instead, it’s a place to slow down and enjoy the moment.
The interior is tastefully decorated, with artworks displayed on the walls, giving the space a calm, modern, and slightly artistic feel.
A Rarely Quiet Moment on a Weekday

Since I visited during weekday lunchtime, there was only one other customer besides me. The café was very quiet and peaceful. There were two staff members, one man and one woman, calmly running the shop.
I ordered a café latte, perfect for warming up on such a cold day. Even with milk, the coffee flavor was rich and bold, showing the quality of the beans and roasting. I ended up staying for about an hour, fully relaxed, before heading out.
Best Time to Visit Rows Coffee

Rows Coffee is very popular on weekends, and seats are often fully occupied. If you prefer a calm atmosphere, weekday visits are highly recommended. It’s an ideal stop when exploring Endoji Shopping Street, especially during colder seasons when you want somewhere warm and quiet to rest.
Rows Coffee may be small, but it offers a refined coffee experience and a peaceful break from the city—perfect for travelers who appreciate good coffee and a relaxed atmosphere in Nagoya.
