The Wi-Fi speed is a bit unstable, so it might be difficult to get computer work done.

While walking along Hisaya Odori Park, I spotted a sign saying that the hotel lobby could be used as a café. I decided to try it out right away, so I’m sharing my experience with you.

For 500 yen, you get unlimited drinks and one plate of snacks (as shown in the photo). The café is available from 12:00 to 16:30.

It’s a typical breakfast venue in a Japanese hotel—nothing fancy or stylish.

Not every seat has an outlet, but there are outlets under the pillars. I checked with the hotel staff just to be sure, and they confirmed that you can use them for free. It’s a good idea for everyone to check with the staff before using the power outlets.

This café offers great value for just 500 yen—you get access to power outlets, unlimited drinks, and snacks. However, it has one major drawback: the Wi-Fi is slow. checked, and the Wi-Fi speed was around 2 Mbps. That might be quite challenging for computer work. The speed is fine for basic internet browsing, so it might be a good last resort when other cafés are full.
