Tenma Bridge and Imom Coffee in Nagoya
Nagoya Castle was built by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1609. To facilitate the construction of Nagoya Castle, the Horikawa River was created, along with seven bridges. While these bridges have been rebuilt several times over the years, they still exist today. One of them is Tenma Bridge.

Although it is one of the historically significant bridges, Tenma Bridge lacks any real presence. There is, however, an informational signboard explaining its history. Among the seven bridges spanning the Horikawa River, Nayabashi stands out due to its prominent location and attracts visitors. However, the remaining bridges are just ordinary structures. I wouldn’t recommend visiting them specifically for sightseeing.

Today, I visited IMOM Coffee, located near Tenma Bridge. It’s a new café that opened in 2024.
The interior of the café has a stylish design, with white as the main color scheme.

The café’s recommendation is their limited-edition sweet potato, so I ordered that. I also got a café au lait.
